At Inspire In-Home Tutoring, we ask that all tutoring either be prepaid, or paid during each 
session. If you exceed your prepaid hours, you are responsible for arranging payment beyond the paid hours. If this happens during a weekend or evening, please continue with any needed sessions, and make payment arrangements the following business day. Here are your payment options:
Pay as You Learn
Write a check or money order each session, made out to Inspire In-Home Tutoring, and give it to your tutor. The current rate is $48/hr. We have a one-hour minimum, and we round your sessions to the nearest 15 minutes. (Sessions should be at least an hour. If for some reason you are not able to complete the hour, we ask that you pay the hour minimum.) There is no discount associated with the Pay as You Learn plan. Here's a printable rate sheet.
Prepay
Could you benefit from some free tutoring? We thought so! Inspire clients receive the 11th hour free when they prepay for ten hours. You can prepay at any time. Just keep in mind that prepaying is just that — your prepay will include future hours from the day you prepay going forward. There are two ways to prepay:
- By Check
Write your check or money order, payable to Inspire In-Home Tutoring, and give it to your tutor. The current prepay rate is $480.00. You will receive the eleventh hour for free! You can prepay as often as you want (you are responsible for paying for all hours used. When you've used the eleven hours, please prepay again.)
- By Credit/Debit Card
Complete our Credit Card Authorization. Send your completed credit card authorization to Inspire:

There is an option to have your card charged each time the eleven hours are used. We will keep track of the hours for you. Please note that your card will be charged as your tutor(s) turn in their hours, approximately once per month. Your card may not be charged on the same day the eleventh hour was used. Prepaid hours never expire, and can be used at any time (even if there is a rate increase in the future.) You can have only one prepayment outstanding at a time. We will gladly issue a refund for any unused paid hours, upon request.
Please note that we do not extend credit, in an attempt to keep our rates fair for everyone. All tutoring must be prepaid, or paid at the time of the session. The only exception, as noted above, is when your prepaid hours expire outside of normal business hours and you need to wait until the next business day to send in your credit card authorization.
