How do I know if tutoring is right for me or my child?
Clients who request tutoring from Inspire In-Home Tutoring do so for a variety of reasons. Our clients recognize the value of education and know it is an investment that will last a lifetime. Many of our clients just love learning. Others are simply having a hard time with the course material and are in need of a little extra help!
When should I request a tutor?
If you are interested in tutoring for personal growth, you
can begin at any time. If you or your child is in need of
tutoring to help with a class, request a tutor as soon as you
see a need. Classes typically build on hemselves, and get
progressively more difficult. Tutoring can be a great avenue
to help ensure that the student is grasping the material. In
the event that the student is not receiving the desired grade
or is not passing, it might not be too late to turn things
around. We can help. Just don't wait until it is too late!
Where is the tutoring done?
All tutoring is done at the student's home or office, or at a location of the client's choice.
What geographic areas does Inspire In-Home Tutoring cover?
Inspire In-Home Tutoring offers in-home tutoring throughout Los Angeles and Orange counties, San Diego, and
the Inland Empire (San Bernardino & Riverside Counties.)
How long are tutoring sessions?
Most tutoring sessions are either one or 1.5 hours. However, longer sessions are available. We round your
sessions to the nearest 15 minutes.
Is my tutor is qualified?
Our tutors are professionals who love learning and teaching. All of our tutors have a minimum of a
bachelor's degree and are well-skilled in the subjects they tutor. All Inspire tutors have teaching or tutoring experience.
What about background checks?
We take your safety and that of your family seriously. We perform nationwide criminal background checks on every tutor who is sent out to your home.
How long have you been in business?
We've been in business since 2003. Formerly Edvantage Education, we changed our company name in 2009 to Inspire In-Home Tutoring. Only our name has changed. We're the same great company with an "inspiring" new name! . We are also a Better Business Bureau Accredited Business, with an
excellent record!
Am I required to purchase a package of tutoring sessions?
No. Although discounts are offered when ten or more hours are purchased in advance, there is no minimum
number of tutoring sessions to purchase.
What is the cost for tutoring?
Inspire In-Home Tutoring offers competitive in-home tutoring rates. Our clients can earn free hours through our

Are there any hidden costs?
No. Who needs that?
What subjects are available?
You name it, we tutor it. We have yet to meet a subject we didn't like! (In the unlikely event that you request a
subject for which we do not have a tutor in your area, we will make every effort to find one for you!)
Will my child or I meet with the same tutor each week?
Yes, one tutor will be assigned to work with you or your child. Sometimes different subjects require different
tutors, other times one tutor can work with you or your child on various subjects. Of course there are times
when we may have to replace your tutor (for example, if your tutor moves.) We do, however, make every effort to
match you with a tutor who will be available for as long as you need him or her.
